SUGGESTIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR WORK:

  • Your artwork should be photographed with a clean, neutral colored background. If you are photographing indoors, do so in a room with plenty of windows and natural light.
  • Photographing your artwork outdoors when it is cloudy or overcast, with indirect sunlight provides the best lighting.
  • Natural light can be a beautiful way to photograph your work as long as it is indirect.
  • Your images need to be clean, that is without distracting background and in sharp focus.
  • You can use your cell phone if you do not have access to a digital camera.
