Hello all. My name is Ludovica Sophia Costanzo, and I am the Student Trustee of the Student Government Association at Nassau Community College. I decided to go to the College because it offers an amazing student program in which English is the second language, and in the meantime I'm able to get my Associate’s degree. My experience at NCC has been wonderful. I've had the opportunity to study, create friendships, and learn new things about different cultures.
Nassau is rich in diversity, and it's fascinating to me. I decided to get involved with the Student Government Association because I want the voices of all Nassau Community College students to be heard. My experience with the SGA is one of the best experiences I have ever had -- I have learned a lot about the students and faculty. I've also made many friends with other Student Government Association members. We are like one big family. My favorite memory at NCC so far has been my reading class with Professor O'Brien-Smith. I always looked forward to going to her class every day.

I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.

"I served in the United States Navy in San Diego from 2014 to 2021, first on the USS Harpers Ferry and then on the USS Rushmore. When it was time for me to attend college, I chose NCC because it's veteran friendly and offers many different programs.
