Newly accepted transfer students will receive an email regarding advisement/registration. Once you receive the email, if you wish to discuss with an academic advisor your courses and any academic concerns, email firstname.lastname@example.org, from your NCC Student Email account and include your NCC-ID. Students will be advised remotely via email, zoom or a phone meeting during the Student Service Remote Hours. Additionally, you should review the Advisement and Registration Guide.
For in-person advisement during the Student Service In-Person Hours at the Student Services Center, only one student is allowed in to meet with the advisor and the Office of Academic Advisement reserves the right to discontinue sign-in earlier than the posted hours when our volume of activity requires it. NCC photo ID card or Government-issued photo ID is required for sign-in. Students will be advised in the order they have arrived.
Students accepted into the following majors will be contacted by their Academic Department: Mortuary Science, Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiation Therapy Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care and Surgical Technology.
Students who wish to enroll in pre-calculus (MAT 111) or calculus (MAT 122) must have transfer credits for the pre-requisites or should schedule an AAF (Advanced, Algebra and Functions) test with PlacementTesting@ncc.edu.
