An ordinary day at work for me is spent in different departments of the hospital facility. Transporting patients one day and others I spend responding to emergencies. My education at NCC has helped prepare me to assist in this battle with COVID19 abundantly. Equipping me with the knowledge to know the importance of practicing proper hand hygiene and wearing the proper PPE. Protecting myself from infection, continuing to be of service to those in need and making it back home safely; are most valuable to me during this tough time.
The late Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others".

Stanley Pan
I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.
