Accelerated Fall Semester

This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to support the needs of our students. Offering a limited number of courses in this format will allow students the flexibility to make changes to their schedule without missing valuable class time. Please note the semester runs from, October 27-December 22, 2022. The schedule of classes is available through your portal by seaching under the "Second Half" part of term. 

Application Info and Deadline

The Admissions and Registrar’s Offices will continue to accept applications for non-degree students seeking to take classes for personal enrichment or enrichment or for continuing students to accelerate their education at NCC, until Friday, October 21, 2022.

• Application Deadline: Friday, October 21, 2022
• Classes Begin: Thursday, October 27, 2022
• Semester Dates: October 27 - December 22
• Disclaimer: For NYS awards, a student who takes Second Half-Late Start Classes must be registered in the required credit load for the particular award and at least one course that meets for the full 15 weeks by the start of the semester. The student cannot add courses at a later date during the semester to achieve the required course load or enrollment status.

• Important Information for All Students taking face to face classes:

  Per SUNY's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, any students who will have a presence on campus i.e. enrolled in courses with on-campus, face-to-face (“F2F”) instruction, students working on campus, student athletes, and students who plan on using on-campus resources (library, bookstore, computer labs) and/or plan on attending on-campus events or club meetings are required to be either fully vaccinated, in process of being fully vaccinated, or be granted an Exemption.

Certification for NYS awards cannot take place until the Second Half courses begins.
