Study In Japan

The World Languages and Cultures Department has created a new course called Discover Japan - JPN 103. In Discover Japan students will spend 4 days (first week of SSI) in the classroom and then travel to Japan for two weeks (first half of June) during 2025 Summer Session I . While in Japan students will be immersed in Japanese language and culture and will visit Kanazawa, Kyoto, and Tokyo with native Department of World Languages and Cultures faculty member, Professor M. Sato (masaki.sato@ncc.edu, Language center and office - Nassau Hall, M15 and M309). Interested in going to Japan?

Next Steps & Requirements

1. Before you can join us in Japan you must successfully complete JPN 101 - Beginning Japanese I.
2. Complete the attached application and forward it to Prof. Woodruff, Study Abroad Advisor.  We will contact you and share information about this study abroad course, including costs, and itineraries. Application deadline: December 31, 2024.
