Objective: Maximize the potential of your office communications in this one-day workshop that is part lecture, part hands-on

 Participants Will Be Taught:

  • How to connect to Outlook for the first time
  • How to send, receive, and store emails
  • How to update and organize your contacts, calendars, and address books
  • How to connect social media and favorite website updates to Outlook

 

Microsoft Word – Intro, Intermediate, Advanced

Objective: Learn the essentials of the most popular word processing package in this series of 3 one-day workshops

Participants Will Be Taught:

  • Intro: document creation, editing, formatting, printing; creating basic tables; features such as spell/grammar check, autocorrect, clipart and word art
  • Intermediate: build on introductory skills - inserting tabs, headers, footers, borders, columns, and working with multiple documents and mail merge
  • Advanced: learn automation – advanced mail merging, customizing tool bars, creating org charts, text boxes, creating and executing macros

 

Microsoft Excel – Intro, Intermediate, Advanced

Objective: Learn the essentials of the most popular spreadsheet package in this series of 3 one-day workshops

Participants Will Be Taught:

  • Intro: spreadsheet creation, editing, formatting; basic formulas and functions and features; creating charts
  • Intermediate: build on introductory skills – understanding formulas, functions and range names, advanced chart making
  • Advanced: conditional and nested functions; add excel content to other Microsoft Office programs; link worksheets; macros and pivot tables

 

Microsoft Powerpoint – Intro & Intermediate

Objective: Learn to create effective electronic presentations in this series of 2 one-day workshops

Participants Will Be Taught:

  • Intro: slideshow creation, templates, special effects; inserting charts, tables, clipart, sound, video, pictures; presentation techniques
  • Intermediate: build on introductory skills – add animation, music, org charts; embed and link objects; create hyperlinks and custom backgrounds

 


ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS

English Language Skills

Help your employees to better communicate, increase fluency, and reduce articulation problems within standard business situations.  Content cab be adapted to be specific to an industry or job.Objective: Increase the language skills of those for whom English is not their primary language
