The Office of Postsecondary Access Programs (OPAP) is Nassau Community College’s headquarters for K-16 grants and partnerships. OPAP is dedicated to supporting Long Island youth. The mission of OPAP is to actualize the post-secondary dreams of our students and their families; to expand diversity and equity in non-traditional career fields; to systemically impact the academic environment to bring forth a college going culture and a build a diverse dynamic workforce.
OPAP grant initiatives are generously funded by the U.S. Department of Education and the New York State Education Department. They provide a wide array of services designed to improve student performance, ensure on-time high school completion, increase the high school graduation rates, and increase the number of students entering college.
