Garden City, NY – On Wednesday, December 3, Nassau Community College will present Sports and Domestic Violence, during which former NFL quarterback Jeff Kemp will speak about supporting families and healthy relationships. The event will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the College Center Building.
Son of former Vice Presidential candidate and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Jack Kemp, Jeff Kemp played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Rams, Forty-Niners, Seahawks and Eagles. He served also on the Executive Committee of Pro Athletes Outreach, which trains professional athletes to be responsible role models and leaders. After his NFL career, Kemp founded and led the marriage and family strengthening organization, Stronger Families. He is currently the vice president of Family Life, a national leader in marriage conferences, radio outreach and empowering resources to heal and strengthen families.
Kemp graduated from Dartmouth College and received his MBA from Pepperdine University. He and his wife Stacy live in Little Rock, Arkansas.
