Garden City, NY –Who: Holocaust Survivor Stephen Berger
What: The Jewish Studies Project at Nassau Community College invites the community to hear about the experiences of Holocaust survivor Stephen Berger
When: Wednesday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m.
Where: Room 252-253 of the College Center Building.
Why: Stephen Berger is now 87 years old. In 1944, at age 16, the Nazis deported him from Hungary to a forced labor camp in Vienna. During his presentation, he will discuss how he saved himself and others under conditions of duress. This event is free, open to the public and accessible to the disabled.
