Garden City, NY – The Nassau Community College Department of Theatre and Dance is pleased to present Pride@Predjudice, a funny and moving homage to the beloved Jane Austen novel. Performances will take place at the Little Theatre October 30 through November 2 and November 5 through November 9.Written by Daniel Elihu Kramer, Pride@Predjudice has Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy fall in love all over again — this time filtered through the world of the Internet. Modern life collides with classic romance when cast members text, tweet and occasionally speak directly with the audience from the stage.Performances of Pride@Predjudice will take place at 8:00 p.m., except Sundays at 3:00 p.m. Tickets cost $9.00, discounted to $7.00 for seniors 55 and over. While supplies last, rush tickets (tickets bought at the door at the time of performance) are free for college students with valid current ID.
