Nassau Community College Presents

An Inspector Calls 

December 5-8 & 11-15

Garden City, NY – The Nassau Community College Department of Theatre and Dance is pleased to present An Inspector Calls, which will be performed at the Little Theatre December 5-8 and 11-15.In An Inspector Calls, a mysterious inspector questions members of the prosperous, middle class Birlings family about the untimely death of Eva Smith, a working class factory girl to whom each had a connection. Although considered a suicide, Inspector Goole presses the various members of the family for information about the part each had played in the exploitation, abandonment and social ruin that may have led to her desperate act. Written by acclaimed novelist, playwright and broadcaster J.B. Priestley, this drama is considered a classic of 20th Century theatre.Performances of An Inspector Calls are at 8:00 p.m., except on Sunday, when they are at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $9.00. While supplies last, rush tickets (tickets bought at the door at the time of performance) are free for college students with valid, current ID.
