Nassau Community College Hosts 4th Congressional District Candidates Forum

Garden City, NY – Nassau Community College is proud to host a candidates forum for the 4th Congressional District seat in the United States House of Representatives. The forum will be held on Tuesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the College Center Building, Room 252-253. The following candidates for the Congressional District office have been invited to the forum: Francis X. Becker, Jr. (Republican, Tax Revolt Party), Carolyn McCarthy (Democrat, Independent, Working Families), and Frank Scaturro (Conservative).

The upcoming forum is sponsored by The League of Women Voters of Central Nassau, the League of Women Voters of East Nassau and the Cultural Program of Nassau Community College. The 4th Congressional District, located in west-central Nassau County, includes the communities of Baldwin, East Meadow, East Rockaway, Elmont, the Five Towns, Lynbrook, Floral Park, Franklin Square, Garden City, Hempstead, Malverne, Mineola, Carle Place, New Hyde Park, Oceanside, Rockville Centre, Roosevelt, Uniondale, Valley Stream, West Hempstead and Westbury.
