The Nassau Community College Fall 2010 Cultural Program Presents Andrew Jenks of “World of Jenks” , December 1
Garden City, NY The Fall 2010 Cultural Program at Nassau Community College is proud to present Andrew Jenks, creator of the MTV documentary series “World of Jenks,” on December 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the College Center Building.
Andrew Jenks is a young documentary filmmaker who first got attention for his film “Andrew Jenks, Room 335” when he moved into a retirement community. In each episode of “World of Jenks” he spends a week with a person who lives a unique life – be it a homeless woman, an NFL cheerleader or an army recruit. Jenks challenges audiences to knock down conventional stereotypes by seeking out worlds that are otherwise foreign to them. Using his own experiences and clips from his show, he brings a fresh view on life.
