March 26, Garden City, NY – In recognition of Women’s History Month, Nassau Community College presented Empowered Voices: Young Women Leading the Way.
This panel discussion featured current NCC students who are campus leaders on the student newspaper; in student government; and on the programming board, which is responsible for conceiving, planning and delivering campus programming and events. Open to all NCC students, the event focused on issues pertinent to the upcoming generation of women. Empowered Voices: Young Women Leading the Way took place on Thursday, March 27, at 11:30 a.m. in the Glass Atrium of the College Center Building (CCB).
