Jorge L. Gardyn MD, FACP, Honored as LIBN Healthcare Hero

February 28, Woodbury, NY – Dr. Jorge L. Gardyn, Nassau Community College (NCC) Board of Trustees Chairman, was honored at the Crest Hollow Country Club during the Long Island Business News (LIBN) Heath Care Heros awards ceremony. Dr. Gardyn was honored as a physician with Island Occupational Medical Resources, PC.

The Long Island Business News Health Care Heroes awards recognize excellence, promote innovation, and honor the efforts of organizations and individuals making a significant impact on the quality of health care in our area.

Dr. Gardyn, an internist in Amityville, NY with more than 40 years of experience in the medical field, has served as NCC Board Chair since 2012. He graduated from International Medical and Technological University School of Medicine (Vignan) in 1984 and served his residency in Internal Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center from 1985 to 1988.
