WHO/WHAT: Ukrainian artist and designer Yurko Gutsulyak presents intricately designed greeting cards sent annually at Lunar New Year. Celestial bodies, especially the moon, fascinate artist Yurko Gutsulyak. Using Lunar New Year as an annual opportunity to express gratitude to friends, colleagues, and fans, Gutsulyak embarked on a twelve-year greeting card project. The exhibition Lunar Collection includes each of the twelve specially designed cards sent across the globe to hundreds of people. Each unique design delights its recipient with a puzzle, a moment of wit and humor, or wishes for good luck in the upcoming year.

Plaza Art Gallery, an extension of the art gallery program established at Nassau Community
College in the 1960s, is a 2,550 square foot gallery situated in the center of campus
on the main plaza. Natural sunlight pours through the six-foot windows and a two-story area allows for
large sculptures, installations, and paintings. A space that invites investigation of the visual arts, the Plaza Art Gallery supports
