Homecoming and Week-Long Nassau Community
College Alumni Celebration Set for October 23-29

Garden City, NY — Nassau Community College’s Homecoming is set for Saturday, October 28, 2023, with the Nassau Lions hosting the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale at 1:00 p.m. In addition to the football game, the College is expanding its alumni and student activities to encompass a week-long Lions Pride celebration, from October 23 to October 29, 2023.

Event Line Up:

Monday, October 23: Nassau County Dome Lighting/NCC Homecoming & Alumni Week “Kick-Off”
Celebrate NCC and Nassau County’s colors of Orange and Navy:  6:00 p.m. at Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building, 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, NY 11501. Sponsored by the NCC Foundation. Free admission.

Wednesday, October 25: Pre-Homecoming Party & Fashion Show
Show your “Lion Pride” while shopping for specially priced items at the NCC Campus Store (Duncan Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530). The evening’s highlight includes a “Fashion Show” featuring prominent NCC alumni as models. Sponsored by the NCC Foundation and Alumni Association of Nassau Community College. Free admission.

Thursday, October 26: Nassau Night at PDQ Chicken Restaurant
Alumni invited! Reunite with old and new friends at 1236 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY 11590. Sponsored by the Alumni Association of Nassau Community College and the NCC Foundation.

Friday, October 27: Commemorative Brick Ceremony
Join us at the NCC Commemorative Garden near the Tower (One Education Drive, Garden City, NY 11530) for the unveiling of engraved bricks honoring alumni, family and friends of Nassau Community College. Sponsored by the NCC Foundation. Free admission.

Saturday, October 28: Homecoming and Alumni Day
NCC Lions vs. Hudson Valley CC Vikings, kick off 1:00 p.m. at Mitchel Athletic Complex, 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale, NY 11553. Gates open at 12 noon. Fun, Food & Football. Free admission and parking.

Sunday, October 29: NCC Fall Open House
