Garden City, NY – On Saturday, November 5, Nassau Community College celebrated Homecoming & Alumni Day at Mitchel Field. The NCC Lions defeated the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings in a shutout game 48-0. Hundreds of alumni, faculty, administration, staff and supporters were in attendance to help make Homecoming a truly splendid event.
The following guests contributed to the Orange and Navy spirit of the day:
Prior to kick-off, 56 NCC faculty and staff – who were hand-selected by student-athletes for recognition at the game – were honored for their dedication, support and mentoring. The day was capped by several performances by the College’s cheerleading team and half-time recognition of NCC’s national championship men’s lacrosse teams from 2021 and 2022.
